Currently we retain the capacity to communicate orders, information, and reports via several formats including: • Any FIX network platform • Access to OASYS Network • All major Order Management Systems (OMS) • BBSS (Broker to Booth Support System) • AOL, Yahoo, or MSN Instant Messenger • Direct Wire Telephone Orders Meridian utilizes Mixit USA as our internal Order Management System (OMS) along with BBSS (Broker to Booth Support System) for our NYSE floor operation. In addition, we have established clearing relationships with Jefferies & Co along with Penson Financial Services in which we act as the introducing broker-dealer. All of our trades are cleared on a Fully Disclosed Basis primarily via the DVP/RVP method (Delivery / Receipt Versus Payment). These clearing relationships assure our clients of a seamless clearing process, timely settlement, and complete anonymity. Every Meridian floor trader carries an E-Broker handheld computer that allows them to transmit market looks and breaking information directly to your trading desk monitors, by-passing the floor booth if necessary. In especially hot situations, clients may access traders’ cell phones directly from the live trading crowd.
