OPTION STRATEGY AND ANALYTICS
Meridian's Option Analytics Group scans equity option transactions in real-time to identify noteworthy and exceptional activity. This activity frequently serves as a precursor to significant movement in the underlying stocks and/or industries observed - be it merger news, earnings surprises or even shareholder activism. PORTFOLIO SCREENING
With multiple strike prices and expirations available, options allow an investor to establish a position which reflects a specific time & price outlook for a particular investment. By applying some of the tools we utilize to expose market opportunities in general, we evaluate client portfolios for securities whose options suggest a bias toward the upside or downside.
We additionally screen for inexpensive options that can be purchased to hedge or increase exposure with minimized risk. Likewise our screens may generate a list of opportunities for yield enhancement through the sale of expensive options. We then generate a report of our findings, which may be delivered once with detailed explanation, or continually revised and advised upon, as part of a consultative program.
CONSULTING PROGRAM
