1. Institutional Equity and Option Sales Trader: Meridian is seeking qualified domestic and international sales traders to fill several positions in our new downtown Manhattan headquarters. Our state of the art trading facility provides the perfect hybrid between our full service electronic platforms and our vibrant exchange floor operations. Leverage our execution expertise, access to information, and deep liquidity in the equity markets while taking advantage of our premium/custom option analytics group. The relaxed environment, working alongside industry veterans, will allow you the perfect setting to further cultivate your relationships. Candidates should have strong established relationships in the equity and / or option marketplaces. 2. Compliance: Meridian is seeking a qualified and dynamic individual to serve as our in house compliance officer. An ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years relevant industry experience as well as all necessary licensing. Working knowledge of Back Office Operations is a plus. 3. Research Sales Associate: Meridian is seeking an established research sales professional with a deep understanding of the healthcare industry to work with our Expert Network group. The primary responsibility will be to create & manage business relationships with the buy side community by offering one-on-one phone consultations, in person meetings, & customized surveys. 4. Marketer: Meridian is seeking a Wall Street marketer to spearhead our newly developed Capital Introduction program. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of Buy Side Wall Street marketing experience. Working knowledge of RFP’s and an entrepreneurial spirit is a plus. 5. IT Coordinator: Meridian has an opening for a hands-on IT manager in a fun, fast paced and challenging environment. Excellent oral & written communications, organizational, and technical analysis skills are a must. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience designing, implementing, and maintaining all IT Infrastructures including Voice/Data communications, Routers, Desktop, Server, and overall IT project management.
