Meridian is an agency only broker dealer. We operate with zero conflict of interest and act 100% on our client's behalf. We have embraced the hybrid mentality of execution by establishing two dominant areas of operation:
- Meridian operates a full service trading desk centrally located on the NYSE floor. This desk has quickly grown to become one of the largest entities on the Exchange with millions of shares being traded each day. In addition to accessing composite volume through all ECN's, algo's and dark pools, we employ several brokers in each room of the NYSE, giving us a larger presence than many of the major houses. This complete and comprehensive coverage allows us to personalize each order while taking advantage of being at the point of sale.
- Our "upstairs" state of the art trading floor in downtown Manhattan allows us the flexibility to hire some of the best professional sales traders on Wall Street. Our bustling trading floor, which also has access to all markets and liquidity pools, helps us integrate the Options market into our macro Equity execution strategy.
